MANITOU LS-4 34" Curly/Spatulated

The Ainesis Manitou LS4 is a 34-inch long-scale four-string with an African mahogany body, a curly spalted maple top and matching headcap, and a maple neck and 24-fret, two-octave maple fretboard with jade inlays. Mahogany gives the body a warm, mid-rich fundamental; the maple cap, neck, and board add snap, tightness, and note definition so the long scale stays clear instead of dark. A Seymour Duncan Steve Bailey 2-Band Jazz Bass System—active neck and bridge J pickups with a 2-band tone circuit, blend, and frequency-contour switch—shapes that wood voice from round jazz warmth to brighter, more aggressive modern punch, with extra harmonic bloom when the contour is on. The result is a full, even Jazz-bass spectrum: controlled lows, present mids, articulate highs, and enough clarity for chords, fingerstyle, and the upper two-octave register.
