USED MANITOU LS5 BIRDSEYE (NO CASE)
The Ainesis Manitou LS5 is a 34-inch long-scale five-string with an African mahogany body, a bound bird’s-eye maple top harvested in northern Michigan, a matching maple headcap, a maple neck, and a Bolivian ebony fretboard. Mahogany supplies a warm, mid-rich core; the dense bird’s-eye cap and maple neck add snap and tightness so the long-scale B string stays defined instead of woolly. Bolivian ebony keeps the attack clean and focused across all five strings. A Seymour Duncan Steve Bailey 2-Band Jazz Bass System—active neck and bridge J pickups with bass/treble EQ, blend, and a frequency-contour switch—shapes that wood voice from round jazz warmth to brighter modern punch, with extra harmonic bloom and mid presence when the contour is engaged. Warm underneath, articulate on top, and easy to push from vintage to aggressive without losing note separation.
